Position: Business Analyst – Data Integrity Program
Status: Project, Full‑Time
Location: Olympia, Washington
Salary: $84,984 – $111,504 per year (DOQ)

- Analyze and interpret data for quality assurance and reporting, identifying patterns and trends.
- Query and evaluate databases, performing in‑depth research on complex applications and systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, and expectations for data quality standards.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and maintain documentation.
- Act as liaison between business and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined and implemented.
- Review test results to confirm acceptance criteria and recommend enhancements to court business processes.
- Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices for effective requirement management and reuse.
- Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and deliver high‑quality work within deadlines.
- Eight (8) years of information technology experience, including three (3) years as a business analyst or court user subject‑matter expert performing requirements gathering, business process analysis, and solution recommendations.
- Associate degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline and six (6) years of information technology experience with direct business analyst responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline and four (4) years of information technology experience with direct business analyst responsibilities.
- Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline and one (1) year of direct experience as a business analyst or court user subject‑matter expert.
- Understanding of the Washington State judicial system, including jurisdictional limits and responsibilities of each court level.
- Experience with Washington’s Courts of Limited Jurisdiction and/or Superior Courts.
- Experience operating Washington Court’s case management systems (JIS/DISCIS, SCOMIS, Odyssey) is a plus.
- Proficient in writing queries and querying data.
- Proficient in preparing accurate written documentation related to business processes, court operations, and issue resolution.
- Ability to articulate information and solutions related to business processes and court operations in person, phone, or online meetings.
- Demonstrated experience and aptitude for planning, requirements elicitation, and managing requirements for complex solutions.
- Ability to plan and organize assignments to create timely, accurate work products.
- Ability to work efficiently, remain focused, and handle interruptions effectively.
- Expertise in presentation, interpersonal, written, and oral communication with business and technical audiences.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 products, including Teams, Outlook, Word, One Note, PowerPoint, and others, with appropriate expertise for the role.
