Pro Sidian seeks a Lead IT QA Consultant in CONUS/OCONUS – Olympia, WA and Tumwater, WA to support an engagement for an Agency dedicated to the safety, health and security of 2.5 million workers and helping employers meet safety and health standards. The Washington State Department Of Labor And Industries oversees the state’s workers' compensation system, providing medical and wage‑replacement coverage to workers who suffer job‑related injuries and illnesses.

Pro Sidian engagement team members work to provide expert‑level Information Technology (IT) Quality Assurance (QA) consulting services supporting a full cross‑agency “business transformation” initiative intended to modernize the agency’s technology infrastructure and related business processes. The client will invest in new technology to support process improvements and achieve stated goals and objectives.

Key focus areas include the current workers’ compensation system and multiple application systems such as LINIIS, ORION, ECS, IME, MIPS, BPS, PPS, and VOC‑LINK. The Lead IT QA Consultant will conduct independent QA, Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), oversight and assessment activities in alignment with client requirements, policies, and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Provide IT QA consulting services across the specified engagement timeline and as defined under any authorized Statement of Work (SOW).
• Develop and refine QA methodology, designing a balanced mix of manual and automation tests to deliver quality on time and within budget, monitoring progress against schedule, cost, requirements, and deliverables.
• Inform client stakeholders, project sponsors, development teams, UAT participants, and functional representatives of risk factors and recommend corrective actions to reduce or prevent risk.
• Document accomplishments and key deliverables for the project, including evaluations and assessments of deliverables and tasks specified in the project plan.
• Review quality of deliverables and products produced by stakeholders, vendors, and selected partners.
• Attend required meetings with steering committees, agency leadership, project teams, and other stakeholders.
• Support project management processes, methodologies, and tools to minimize risk and validate content.
• Conduct project reviews and assessments of client and vendor activities, identifying potential risks and recommending mitigation.
• Deliver all QA services, work products, and deliverables.
• Work in an Agile environment, assisting developers and architects in automating tests at unit, functional, system, and performance levels.
• Help establish and support a QA framework for Continuous Build, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment with automation of integration and unit tests in the stage environment.
