Responsible for the operation and support of Core Systems, such as Exchange, M365 Apps including SharePoint and Teams, On‑Premises Microsoft Server platforms, Device Management platforms, and other Core Systems. Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and manage standard operating procedures and configurations for assigned systems.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of AOC Infrastructure to independently learn and implement software products that best meet AOC business needs.
  • Perform complex troubleshooting and problem resolution to ensure business continuity, reliability, and performance.
  • Regularly evaluate software products for accuracy, business impact, and potential problems to ensure the best product is used for AOC business needs.
  • Learn and utilize support products to minimize business impact and provide the highest level of productivity.
  • Consult and mentor AOC Staff and Court employees to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Independently create processes for upgrades, maintenance, and disaster recovery for assigned systems.
  • Perform lead duties in work groups and projects as assigned by Core Systems supervisor, including advanced knowledge of architecture, workload planning, instruction, training, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Prioritize multiple assigned tasks and execute parallel tasks in a high‑pressure environment.
  • Serve as primary support for individual Core Systems including Biz Talk, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and various COTS programs, as well as supporting their on‑premise servers.
  • Perform other work as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. Relevant experience may substitute for education on a year‑for‑year basis.

  • Proficiency in Windows Active Directory Administration.
  • Experience with virtual environments such as VMware.
  • Experience with Azure, including identity management and resource creation/maintenance.
  • Experience supporting Enterprise Messaging Systems, such as Microsoft Exchange.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Office 365.
  • Advanced knowledge of key system utilities and applications; responsibilities include learning, designing, documenting, implementing, troubleshooting, recovering, and training peers and staff.
  • Experience with M365 Administration, including SharePoint.
  • Microsoft Server (All Versions).
  • Exchange – Enterprise Messaging.
  • Disaster Recovery – bi‑annually restore systems at a remote site, potentially using unlike hardware.
  • Biz Talk.
  • Advanced knowledge of Active Directory/Windows Server administration.
  • Advanced knowledge of VMware administration.
  • Strong understanding of major enterprise Windows operating systems.
  • Ability to independently prioritize workload, clearly articulate technical concepts, and work with various teams to provide timely, accurate, clear, and concise service.
  • Skilled in independently learning new software and concepts without training.
  • Workweek may fluctuate depending on workload or agency needs.
  • Overnight travel may be required based on business needs.
  • This position is not overtime eligible.
