The Business Systems Analyst acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams at the Washington Health Benefit Exchange, gathering requirements, analyzing data, and driving resolution of issues for Washington Healthplanfinder and related products. The role involves triage, quality assurance, documentation, stakeholder coordination, and supporting system improvements across the exchange's ecosystem. This position may serve on delivery teams or support cross‑functional work including training, issue triage, and business process refinement.
Keyqualifications
- Three years of experience in analytical or problem‑solving roles
- Experience with issue tracking/ticketing systems such as JIRA
- Ability to analyze issues, prioritize work, and manage competing requests
- Experience documenting system issues, business rules, and expected vs. actual behavior
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non‑technical audiences
- Ability to coordinate across teams and manage stakeholder expectations
