The HR1 Service Now Developer - Senior Specialist designs, develops, and maintains applications on the Service Now platform supporting HR1 program administration, eligibility determination, and compliance tracking for the Health Care Authority. This internal promotional role handles complex configurations, workflow automation, custom reporting, and security maintenance while serving as a technical resource for peer reviews and cross-divisional consultation. The position is based in Olympia with telework flexibility and is funded through November 1, 2029.
Keyqualifications:
- Master's, Bachelor's, or Associate's degree in IT/Computer Science plus 3-7 years progressive IT experience, or 9 years progressive IT experience, or 3 years as Journey Level IT Service Now Developer i
- Experience developing in Service Now or related web technologies (JavaScript, HTML) and SaaS solutions in a team environment
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and solve complex technical problems
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into system functionality
- ITIL Foundations Certification preferred
