Program Manager, IT – M&A Integration (6 month contract)

We have an opportunity for a Senior Program Manager, M&A Integration - IT Systems and Tools contractor to join our Office of the President team in a remote capacity in the Western US in an initial 6-month contract, reporting to the Senior Program Manager, Integration Management Office. In this pivotal role, you will lead cross-functional planning and execution for systems, processes, and tools integration across the M&A lifecycle.

You will serve as the program management connective layer across IT, Information Security, People, Finance, Product, Sales, Support, and acquired-company teams, helping ensure Day 1 readiness, reduce operational disruption, and deliver a coordinated path to the target state.

Collaborating closely with executive sponsors, workstream leads, technical teams, and business stakeholders, you will manage milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and readiness reporting across application, infrastructure, identity, access, data, collaboration, and end-user technology domains. You will also help evolve repeatable integration practices and responsibly apply AI-enabled productivity, analytics, and automation tools to improve program visibility and execution.

Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do
  • Own the integrated IT systems and tools workplan across pre-close, Day 1, post-close, and target-state integration phases
  • Coordinate systems inventory, application rationalization, migration readiness, data movement, and legacy-tool retirement activities
  • Establish milestones, dependencies, critical path items, risks, issues, decisions, and readiness checkpoints across technical and business teams
  • Run cross-functional working sessions and operating cadences that drive accountability, resolve blockers, and maintain alignment
  • Partner with IT, Information Security, HR, Finance, Sales, Product, Support, and acquired-company stakeholders to define sequencing, ownership, and transition requirements
  • Track identity, access, endpoint, network, collaboration, infrastructure, security, and business-application readiness for close and post-close operations
  • Prepare concise executive updates that summarize progress, critical decisions, risks, dependencies, resource needs, and value realization
  • Maintain integrated plans, RAID logs, decision registers, dashboards, playbooks, cutover plans, and transition documentation
  • Use Microsoft 365, Teams, Planner, SharePoint, Power BI, and approved AI capabilities such as Copilot to summarize meetings, draft status content, analyze program data, identify action-item trends, and reduce follow-up effort while validating outputs and protecting confidential information
