Role Description

We are seeking a family law associate attorney to join our expanding team. Candidates with prior experience in family law will be given preference. Experience in high conflict and/or heavy litigation practice is preferred, but we are willing to mentor and train the right candidate. Personal fit with our firm culture and an aptitude for learning are our priorities when looking to expand our team.

Being detail-oriented, confident, self-aware, and a persuasive writer and oral advocate are required. Bonus points if you are perfectionistic in nature and have next-level attention to detail.

Being comfortable in a casual atmosphere and having a sense of humor while maintaining professionalism and firm reputation are a must.

We offer a collegial and friendly working environment in a beautiful, waterfront office location. Starting salary is competitive and dependent upon experience. Employees also receive medical insurance, paid holidays, vacation time, and other benefits including malpractice insurance, paid membership dues, and paid continuing legal education costs after a probation period of 90 days.

Qualifications

• Expertise iand experience in Family Law preferred
• Proficiency in providing legal advice and handling negotiation
• Strong research skills, attention to detail, and analytical capabilities
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership
• Experience advocating for clients in litigation is preferred
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and work in a collaborative environment
