Here at the Olympia Plant, we currently manufacture 12 oz. beverage cans.

This is a dual position.

• The forklift operator ensures the packaging, handling, and shipment of a quality product that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• The palletizer operator works independently, inspecting product and line.

Actual salary will be determined based on skill and experience level.

• Ensures all equipment, guards, and safety devices are in place at all times, and follows safe work procedures and safety rules.
• Operates sit‑down propane forklift to transport inventory and load tractor trailers for shipment.
• Transports inventory in warehouse to correct locations and stages orders for shipment.
• Understands daily production schedule and coordinates with management, leads, and coworkers accordingly.
• Performs visual inspection of aluminum cans and packaging quality.
• Monitors schedules, equipment, or processes, and reports problems to Supervisor.
• Follows all SOPs and communicates with proper personnel as concerns or issues arise.
• Assists Quality Assurance in locating pallets for sampling.
• Performs other related duties as required.

The Palletizer Operator is an entry‑level position responsible for operating automatic can palletizing equipment to pattern and/or transfer cans to and from pallets.

• Minimum 18 years old.
• High school diploma or G.E.D preferred.
• Equivalent with 3+ years of sit‑down forklift experience required.
• Working in a manufacturing setting; high‑speed manufacturing preferred.
• Must be able to withstand extreme climate changes, especially during summer and winter months.
• Effective and proven communication skills (both written and verbal) working in a team environment.
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time.
• Effective record‑keeping skills and the ability to focus on details.
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods as well as work on elevated stationary platforms and withstand extreme climate changes during summer months.
