Program Overview

This is an Ameri Corps/Washington Service Corps national service position. It is contingent on funding and open until filled. The Thurston County Food Bank (TCFB) is committed to eliminating hunger in our community through neighbor‑helping‑neighbor service. It serves more than 71,000 community members annually through pantries, satellite and mobile programs, home delivery, and partnerships with regional agencies. Ameri Corps members play a critical role in expanding access to nutritious food while supporting dignity, equity, and community resilience.

• Receive, rotate, sort, pack, restock, and distribute food from weekly shipments.
• Support client intake and assist with farm stand operations.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and stackers.
• Perform occasional off‑site deliveries and work independently or with staff and volunteers to meet daily service needs.

  High school diploma/GED
