Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) in Olympia, Washington. Start date ASAP for a 13-week travel assignment.
Weekly pay range: $1,851 to $1,981 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12 Days. Setting: hospital.

ASAP - Setting:
Labor & Delivery unit with Level II NICU on-site (no facility name)
- Provide direct patient care to laboring patients and postpartum families; monitor progress and fetal status.
- Circulate/assist in cesarean deliveries and support the anesthesia team as needed.
- Manage postpartum couplet care, initiate IVs, and administer IV antibiotics, EPIVs, and lipid infusions (PPN/lipids) as ordered.
- Recognize and respond to Level II NICU needs; stabilize and collaborate with neonatal team for short‑term stabilization and transport when required.
- Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (Respiratory, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Rapid Response) to coordinate care.
- Care routines include newborn assessments, lactation support, and safety checks for mom and baby; participate in rounding and discharge planning where appropriate.
- Active RN license in Washington state (pending license accepted; quick starts preferred).
- Minimum 2 years RN experience in L&D, postpartum, and C‑section settings.
- Certifications:
BLS, NRP, ACLS;
Preferred: AWHONN Intermediate. - EPIC charting experience; ability to document clearly and accurately.
- Ability to work in a Labor & Delivery unit with Level II NICU on-site; floating within POD/sitter as needed.
- Two professional references required (covering 1 year within the last 3 years).
- Orientation: 36 hours; pre‑start modules required (average ~16 hours).
- Orientation and onboarding: 36 hours plus required pre‑start learning modules.
- Assignment support from dedicated recruitment team; scheduling coordination and point of contact during the assignment.
- Time‑off requests: all requested time off must be submitted with the submittal package.
- On‑call: not required, but may be requested.
- EPIC charting and routine access to unit resources and interdisciplinary support.
