Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shifts, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:30), including every other weekend.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to provide high-quality care in a dynamic hospital setting. The ideal candidate will possess skills in labor and delivery, postpartum care, and managing C-sections, and will work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, postpartum, and C-section recovery.
• Monitor mother and newborn during labor, delivering appropriate interventions as needed.
• Assist with C-section procedures and recovery, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth and postpartum recovery processes.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN Intermediate preferred.
• Experience with a variety of patient cases: RDS, Sepsis, NAS, hyperbilirubinemia, hypoglycemia, and failure to thrive.
• Must be eligible to float between like units as needed.
