Salary Range: $42.40–$71.52 per hour (based on experience)

Job Type: Full-time and PRN options available

Schedule: Multiple scheduling options, Monday–Friday; occasional Saturdays; on-call rotation; overnight shifts may be required.

Location: Olympia Surgery Center

• Administer care to patients prior to surgery.
• Administer pre‑surgery medication under guidance of physician or PA.
• Evaluate and access admission documents, identify emergency procedures, and adhere to necessary pre‑operation policies and procedures.

• Monitor vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, respiratory rate).
• Treat symptoms of postoperative nausea and vomiting.
• Manage post‑operative pain.
• Treat post‑anesthetic shivering.
• Monitor surgical sites for excessive bleeding, discharge, swelling, hematoma, redness, etc.

• IV Therapy experience (starting, discontinuing IVs, administering medication).
• Graduate of an accredited State Board of Nursing program; current Registered Nurse in Washington required.
• Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within 90 days of hire.
