RN - Pediatric

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) with weekend coverage required every other weekend.

The Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients within the hospital setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care, particularly within the Post Partum and Special Care Nursery units.

• Provide direct patient care to neonates and pediatric patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and developmental milestones.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate families about infant care, including breastfeeding support and handling of breast milk.
• Manage various pediatric conditions, including asthma, bronchiolitis, and jaundice.
• Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care.
• Float to Post Partum and Special Care Nursery as required.

• Minimum of 1 year of Pediatric nursing experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Experience with EPIC charting system.
