Overview
Pediatric Registered Nurse (Peds RN) – Olympia, Washington, United States. Start date 07/14/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment on a Nights shift (3x12). Weekly pay range: $1,723–$1,732 per week. This position is in a pediatric unit housed within a postpartum area in an acute care setting. First-timers are not accepted; travel RN experience is required. EPIC charting experience is expected.

Pediatric med-surg unit within a postpartum care area in an acute care setting - Travel requirements:
Travel RN experience required; locals not eligible (permanent residence within 50 miles excluded)
- Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients across the age spectrum encountered in the unit, including Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, and some adults per census
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, monitor for adverse effects, and respond to clinical changes
- Support oxygen therapy and respiratory devices (including Vapotherm High Flow; CPAP/BiPAP as indicated)
- Assist with feeding methods (breast, bottle, gavage) and breastfeeding support; monitor nutrition and hydration
- Maintain strict isolation precautions and infection control; monitor patient safety and fall prevention
- Document accurately in EPIC; participate in interdisciplinary rounds; coordinate with IV, Respiratory, PT, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Work, and rapid response teams as needed
- Float as required to Post Partum and Special Care Nursery; adhere to unit protocols and patient ratios (3:1)
- Current RN license to practice in Washington (active, in good standing) or ability to obtain per travel assignment
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience; travel RN experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Previous charge RN experience preferred
- Two professional references (covering the last 12 months within the last 3 years)
- BLS and PALS certifications required
- EPIC charting experience required
- 3:1 patient ratio experience; ability to work nights and adapt to a fast-paced pediatric med-surg environment
- Ability to float to Post Partum and Special Care Nursery as needed
