Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to fill a crucial role as a Health Room Assistant at an elementary school. This position is focused on providing essential health care services to students while ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the school day.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with health assessments and monitor student health conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain health records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding health concerns.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and school policies while working on campus.
• Stay on campus during working hours and manage health room operations efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Current Washington State LPN license or compact LPN in hand.
• Experience in pediatric nursing or school health is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a school environment.

Schedule:

This position operates Monday through Friday from 8:10 AM to 3:10 PM, totaling 35 hours per week.

Contract Dates:

This is an urgent backfill position available immediately through June 17, 2027.

Additional Information:

The staff member is required to remain on campus during working hours to provide continuous health assistance to students. Knowledge and experience with relevant charting systems are a plus.
