** Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
** for a part-time, school-based position in Olympia, Washington, for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a meaningful opportunity to provide safe, student-centered nursing care while collaborating with school staff and supervising healthcare professionals.

** Key Responsibilities**
* ** Provide Direct Nursing Care:
** Deliver care in routine and stable clinical situations while recognizing and responding to students’ basic healthcare needs.
* ** Administer Medications and Treatments:
** Perform tasks permitted under WAC , including medication administration and selected treatments.
* ** Implement Nursing Regimens:
** Carry out selected components of nursing care plans as delegated by a Registered Nurse or licensed provider.
* ** Monitor Student Health:
** Observe, document, and report changes in students’ conditions to supervising healthcare professionals.
* ** Support Complex Care:
** Assist Registered Nurses in complex or rapidly changing clinical situations.
* ** Maintain Compliance:
** Follow Washington State Board of Nursing standards, infection-control protocols, school district procedures, and organizational policies.
* ** Collaborate With Care Teams:
** Work interdependently with Registered Nurses, physicians, therapists, educators, families, and support staff to provide coordinated care.
* ** Maintain Documentation:
** Complete accurate and timely nursing notes, treatment records, and other required documentation.
* ** Promote Student Access:
** Support students’ health, safety, dignity, and ability to participate in their educational programs.
** Required Qualifications
*** Active Washington State LPN license in good standing under RCW 18.79
* Graduation from an approved practical nursing program
* Current CPR/BLS certification
* Ability to perform nursing duties within the LPN scope of practice established by WAC
* Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
* Ability to complete all required fingerprinting, agency onboarding, and district clearance requirements before starting
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Experience in Washington healthcare settings, including schools, clinics, long-term care, home health, or hospitals
* Pediatric or school nursing experience
* Familiarity with Washington State Board of Nursing guidance, including the Scope of Practice Decision Tree
* Experience supporting diverse populations and providing trauma-informed care
