Shift Manager – McDonald's
Job Description:
Level 5 / Non‑Exempt / Full‑Time / Hourly Employee / Reports to the General Manager.
- Lead a shift, including employee training, food and restaurant safety, and guest satisfaction.
- Effectively delegate tasks to crew members and maintain shift targets.
- Support the Assistant Manager and General Manager to achieve restaurant performance and quality standards in three areas:
- Kitchen – maintain food quality and safety.
- People – coach, train, and provide feedback in the hiring decision‑making process.
- Service – deliver a memorable guest experience by ensuring the shift is well‑prepared and organized to provide the best service to every guest, both internal and external.
- Lead by example while upholding all company policies and brand standards.
- A humble and hospitable demeanor with a passion for helping and serving others.
- The capability to lead and motivate others.
- A desire to learn and grow.
- A commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace.
- Strong customer service and support focus.
- Ability to provide solutions and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
