What you’ll doAs the Senior Account Executive (AE), you are a highly motivated self‑starter responsible for developing and closing new business or expanding our footprint in current customers within an assigned geographic (GEO) territory. You focus on acquiring new customers or upselling additional use cases, products, and services to existing accounts, while meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly quotas, managing deals proactively, ensuring forecast accuracy, and driving adoption and usage in partnership with internal teams and the broader Docusign partner ecosystem.
Responsibility- Drive the company’s sales goals by achieving individual quotas.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting efforts in a geographic territory or core verticals.
- Develop and deliver customized sales presentations and product demonstrations by phone and online demo.
- Negotiate enterprise‑level proposals and contracts.
- Forecast sales activity and revenue accurately using sales tools.
- Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives, Market Development Representatives, Solutions Engineers, Account Managers, Partner Account Managers, Legal, Security, Professional Services, and Customer Support.

- BS/BA degree.
- 5+ years of prior sales experience.
- 7+ years in a quota‑carrying sales role within software.
- Proven success with prospecting, lead development, managing complex sales cycles, and closing deals in small‑to‑medium or mid‑market accounts.
- Proficient computer skills, including CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
- Strong business acumen and experience managing multiple concurrent client relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and quick to learn and ramp.
Pay varies by location and experience.
- California: $50.20 – $72.23 per hour
- Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts, Minnesota: $48.50 – $66.65 per hour
- Washington, Maryland, New Jersey, New York (incl. NYC metro): $48.50 – $69.03 per hour
- Washington DC: $50.20 – $69.03 per hour
- Ohio: $46.10 – $63.35 per hour
- Variable incentive pay for sales personnel based on achievement of pre‑established sales goals; non‑sales roles eligible for a company bonus plan dependent on company performance.
