Product Sales Manager

Location/Region

This position covers the Northwest of the United States. Candidates must reside within WA, NV, OR, UT, or CO.

The Product Sales Manager (PSM) is a sales professional who is highly motivated, results‑driven, and technically proficient. The primary objective is to promote and increase sales of 3D optical technology within a designated territory. The PSM develops and nurtures strong relationships with customers, identifies new sales opportunities, and provides the necessary technical and commercial expertise to expand the company’s market presence.

The role also involves proactively supporting customers in enhancing their quality‑control processes and implementing advanced metrology solutions.

• Engage new and existing customers to achieve sales booking objectives.
• Identify and create new sales opportunities, especially into large, complex corporations with multi‑step, consultative sales processes and extended sales cycles.
• Manage and travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Share leads with other sales teams and channels to maximize sales potential.
• Explore innovative ways to support customers, collaborate with various departments for a seamless experience, and take ownership of customer success.
• Collaborate closely with the technical team to deliver product and solution demonstrations.
• Follow the ZEISS sales process to propose the best solution for each customer’s needs.
• Support sales and marketing events to promote products and engage potential customers.
• Maintain the CRM system with all sales activities, relationships, and lead status.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. A background in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred.
• 2‑5 years of proven experience in technical sales, preferably in metrology or precision measurement systems.

Pacific/Northwest: $84,000 – $105,000.

Mountain States: $78,000 – $98,000.

The salary may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, and specialization.

This position is eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions.
