Account Executive (Outside Sales)

KGY Media Group is seeking candidates to join our Sales Department. The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience, and a passion for helping local businesses grow their revenues and reach their goals by providing marketing and advertising solutions and expertise. Candidates who are interested in radio and digital advertising, as well as social media and event marketing, and have a desire to develop lasting relationships with local business owners while creating campaigns that get results will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Cold‑call local businesses
• Network with business owners/leaders
• Pitch and close broadcast & digital media advertising campaigns
• Craft compelling, creative, and effective advertising messages/graphics
• Meet/exceed your sales goal(s) as determined by management

Qualifications

• Previous phone sales/telemarketing experience
• Persistence and proactive outreach
• Interest in radio, digital advertising and marketing
• A desire to earn additional commissions above a base salary

• Plus sliding commissions (3‑7%) based on performance
• 100% commission‑based compensation with annual earnings range of: $32,000 – $150,000 + uncapped
