Fleet Service (Non-Exempt A-20 step I, Supplemental

The Fleet Services Technician performs automotive and equipment maintenance and repair work for the Nisqually Indian Tribe.

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of Tribal construction and farm
• Perform preventative maintenance services and inspections on equipment and trailer
• Diagnose and repair diesel-powered
• Diagnoses, repair, and wire electrical
• Install, diagnose, and repair, electrical system, hydraulic and air brake
• Operates a variety of diagnostic engines and other testing
• Perform drilling, tapping threads, measuring, and simple welding to repair, design, and fabricate for equipment
• Diagnose and repair hydrostatic, manual transmissions and
• Test and inspection of emissions
• Test and inspect completed work to assure proper performance and timely
• Perform safety
• Perform other duties
• All duties will be taught on the by Fleet Service Mobile Master Mechanic.

• Some experience in the automotive repair & maintenance
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug
• Must have a valid Washington State Driver's License and be insurable under Tribe's insurance
• Must be an Enrolled Nisqually Tribal member and at least 21 years of
