Millwright

Our manufacturing client is looking for an experienced Millwright to join their maintenance team in Olympia, WA.
** Pay Rate: **$30/hr - $35/hr

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems

Diagnose mechanical failures and perform repairs on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, bearings, compressors, and hydraulic systems

Align, assemble, and install machinery using precision measuring and alignment tools

Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical specifications

Perform equipment inspections and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and reduce downtime

Assist with equipment installations, plant expansions, and machinery upgrades

Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document maintenance activities using CMMS software

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED3+ years of experience as a Millwright or Industrial Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission, bearings, conveyors, and rotating equipment

Experience with precision alignment, machine installation, and equipment troubleshooting

Welding, fabrication, and machining experience

Basic electrical troubleshooting and PLC knowledge
