Intercity Transit is seeking a full-time Facilities Technician III to join our Facilities Team. In this role, you will contribute to a collaborative and team-oriented work environment by sharing knowledge, leading through your actions and example, and demonstrating a strong commitment to Intercity Transit’s mission, vision, and values.

Our Facilities Team plays an essential role in keeping Intercity Transit’s operations running safely and efficiently. The Facilities Team perform duties related to the day-to-day repair, maintenance, and safe operations of our buildings and facilities. The team is responsible for the maintenance and repair of our facilities, grounds, park-and-ride lots, bus shelters, and bus stops throughout our service area. This work also helps ensure our facilities and operations comply with applicable state, federal, and local environmental and safety standards.

Work Schedule: This position typically works Monday–Friday day shift and participates in a rotating on-call schedule. Schedule adjustments may be required based on operational needs.

• Knowledge and hands-on experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing technologically advanced building systems, facilities, and complex transportation support equipment.
• Experience coordinating with outside vendors and contractors, including identifying service needs and recommending or acquiring maintenance and repair services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt communication styles, understand diverse perspectives, and contribute to a respectful, positive, and supportive work environment.
