Skilled Operative​/Labourer

Overview

MPA Recruitment Omagh is currently recruiting for Skilled Operatives / Labourers to work with a well-established client within the construction and maintenance sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy team carrying out essential works across void and tenanted properties, with the potential to move into a permanent position.

• Work on void and tenanted properties
• Deliver a professional and respectful service to tenants and clients
• Carry out general construction and maintenance tasks including:
• Kerbing and flagging
• Fencing installation and repair
• Blockwork
• Concreting
• Load, unload, move, secure, and install materials as required
• Operate light and heavy equipment depending on the task and site requirements
• Ensure all work areas are left clean, tidy, and safe at the end of each day
• Work under the direction of site supervisors to meet client requirements
• Follow strict health and safety procedures at all times
• Accurately complete all required site documentation (paper or electronic)
• Undertake any additional duties as required

• Previous experience in a construction or labouring role preferred
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong awareness of health and safety practices
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
• Willingness to work in outdoor and physically demanding environments

• Some roles may include a company van depending on experience
• Opportunity for progression into a permanent role

These positions will initially be offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to transfer to permanent employment following an agreed period, subject to performance and business requirements.
