Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in accounting processes. Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records to ensure compliance with company standards.

- Utilize Quick Books to manage transactions and generate financial reports.

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections.

- Conduct regular bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies.

- Track and categorize expenses to support budgeting and financial planning.

- Prepare reports and summaries to assist management in decision-making.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.

- Collaborate with team members to address any accounting issues or challenges.

- Monitor cash flow and report any potential risks or opportunities.

- Assist with audits and provide required documentation as needed. Requirements - Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and other accounting software.

- Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Experience performing bank reconciliations with attention to detail.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.

- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
