Payroll Accountant

• Run bi-weekly payroll for 1000+ employees
• Keep payroll records up-to-date + accurate
• Review timesheets & payroll data for accuracy
• Collaborate with HR to support employee changes and payroll questions
• Handle employee pay/tax inquiries with professionalism and clarity
• Prepare payroll-related journal entries
• Reconcile payroll-related GL accounts
• Assist with month-end + year-end close
• Support financial reporting & ad-hoc analysis

• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance or solid equivalent experience
• 2+ years of hands-on payroll experience
• Strong Excel skills (formulas + pivots are your friend)
• Experience with online payroll systems (Paycom, UKG, Kronos, ADP, etc.)
