The Cash Management Associate will perform the day‑to‑day operations for the Cash Management area. In this role they will also complete various Accounting duties to support both Accounting and Cash Management functions.
What You’ll Do In This Role- Process daily deposits, including lockbox deposits, checks received utilizing bank scanner, and ACH
- Reconcile cash accounts against the daily deposits for accuracy
- Collect, distribute, and input accounts payable invoices
- Compile and prepare entries to the general ledger utilizing Sage primarily those related to A/R and A/P
- Research and solve cash receipts input problems, over payments and watch over proper application of funds received to proper accounts
- Provide customer service support to franchisees on cash receipts and general questions via telephone or email in a timely manner
- Communicate with other departments as needed to problem solve and gain accurate information for transactions
- Assist with the assembly of required information by inputting payroll and operation transfers for the lending program into the approval spreadsheet
- Assist with annual audit documentation and support
- Cross train within the department
- Perform special projects as assigned

- Associate degree in Accounting or related field, or 3-5 years of experience in an Accounting department
- 1-2 years of experience in an Accounting department
- Proficient in Microsoft products
- Strong experience with Excel and ability to do X and V lookups
- Experience with Sage preferred

- Ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

- Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to pass a background check including Motor Vehicle Report
