This is a hands-on role designed for an experienced accounting professional who values ownership, thrives in a highly regulated environment, and is energized by improving systems and processes. On this small, collaborative team united by a shared mission, you'll gain broad exposure and the opportunity to grow into expanded responsibilities over time.

What You'll Do
  • Manage all general ledger activity and ensure daily, weekly and monthly reconciliation accuracy
  • Oversee accounts payable for the credit union and affiliated entities
  • Prepare and support monthly financial statements and internal reporting
  • Support audits and regulatory examinations by gathering documentation, responding to requests and independently resolving follow-up items
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with highly regulated credit union policies and procedures
  • Monitor transactions, identify discrepancies and resolve issues proactively
  • Strengthen accounting processes by implementing improvements that enhance accuracy and control
  • Collaborate across the credit union to support operational excellence and financial integrity
Who We Want

  • Dedicated executors who take pride in balanced accounts, precise reconciliations and strong follow-through
  • Organized multitaskers who calmly manage competing deadlines and adapt as priorities shift
  • Independent decision-makers who confidently assess issues, apply sound judgment and take ownership of solutions within established guidelines
  • Resourceful problem solvers who analyze root causes, strengthen processes and create practical efficiencies
  • Service-minded teammates who build trust, communicate clearly and support colleagues with professionalism and care
What You Need
