Omaha-Based Professional Services Organization
We're partnering with a growing professional services organization in Omaha that is looking to add a strong billing / collections professional to the team.
This is a high-visibility role working closely with leadership, operations, and client-facing teams. The right person will be someone who can bring structure, stay organized, communicate professionally with clients, and help keep receivables moving in the right direction.
This is not a "sit back and monitor reports" type of role. They need someone hands-on who is comfortable owning follow-up, managing workflows, improving processes, and helping create consistency across billing and collections operations.
What You'd Be Doing
- Managing open receivables and helping drive timely collections
- Communicating directly with clients regarding balances, payment questions, and payment arrangements
- Following up consistently through phone, email, and text communication
- Working closely with internal leadership on escalated account situations
- Tracking communication and account activity inside internal systems / CRM tools
- Helping improve processes, reporting, and workflow consistency across the AR function
- Supporting reporting tied to aging, collections activity, and overall AR performance
- Assisting with billing operations and helping identify areas where things can become more efficient
- Strong background in accounts receivable, billing, or collections
- Someone comfortable handling a fairly high volume of client communication
- Professional communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations well
- Experience working inside CRM, ERP, billing, or case management systems
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple moving pieces without things slipping through the cracks
- Self-starter mentality, this person will have a lot of ownership in the role
- Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment
- Background in professional services environments
- Experience dealing with complex client billing situations
- Process improvement mindset
- Experience supporting leadership teams with reporting and workflow management
- Strong visibility with leadership
