Responsibilities- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliation
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Reconcile bank and credit card activity
- Assist with financial reporting and audits
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
- 2-5 years of accounting experience preferred
- Strong Excel, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP
- Assist with processing of vendor invoices and employee reimbursements
- Review and verify expense coding and employee reimbursements
- Assis with payment processing and check runs
- Assist with preparation and analysis of financial reports and communication of any fluctuations
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
- Assist in developing and monitoring adherence to internal controls
