Are you a dedicated accountant with an interest or passion for real estate? Hemphill is partnering with an Omaha-based and well-respected real estate development firm to help them select a Senior Accountant to join their team in an important role! This position offers a unique chance to manage critical accounting functions that directly influence innovative and community-focused real estate development projects that are changing the way Omaha looks and feels!

In this position, you will:

Take responsibility for monthly financial accounting and reporting associated with development projects and existing properties while taking pride in the quality and timeliness of your work.

Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing functions, reviewing related entries for accuracy and reasonableness.

Embrace a proactive approach by taking responsibilities beyond routine tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, project profitability analysis, and process improvement.

This is a rewarding opportunity to engage in diverse accounting tasks and gradually assume more responsibilities. You will work closely with an experienced Controller committed to mentoring and supporting your growth.
