• Take ownership of the daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounting and reporting for one of the company's core business units, including month-end close, consolidations, financial reporting, technical accounting, and specialized reporting to executive leadership.
• Lead and develop a small, experienced team of Staff Accountants while partnering closely with executives, legal counsel, Investor Relations, external auditors, and business unit leaders on accounting matters, strategic initiatives, and special projects.
• Play a key role in the accounting surrounding the company's investments and development projects while ensuring financial reporting is accurate, thoughtful, and completed with a high level of attention to detail.
• Partner with leadership during the annual budgeting and forecasting process while analyzing results against forecast, preparing meaningful commentary, and helping communicate financial performance to executive leadership and external investors.
