We're looking for an experienced accounting professional to join our International Accounting team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the financial books and records of the parent company and its international subsidiaries, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with global accounting operations, financial reporting, and cross-functional business partners while contributing to key month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
What You'll Do- Maintain the financial books and records for the parent company and international subsidiaries.
- Prepare and record monthly and quarterly journal entries.
- Produce accurate and timely financial and management reports.
- Partner with accounting, finance, international operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the accurate recording of business transactions.
- Analyze general ledger and sub-ledger activity to identify trends and resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare supporting documentation.
- Research and respond to inquiries from business partners, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
- Prepare reporting packages for management review.
- Develop, update, and maintain accounting policies and process documentation.
- Support annual external audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Execute and maintain internal controls to support a SOX-compliant control environment.
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Complete required compliance and professional development training.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, with public accounting experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation or progress toward CPA is a plus.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Experience working with enterprise financial systems;
People Soft Financials experience is a plus. - Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.
- Public company experience is a plus.
- Financial services industry experience is a plus.
