ACCOUNTS RECEIVING SPECIALIST

As an Accounts Receiving Clerk you will be responsible for managing the money owed to the company by its customers for goods and services sold on credit.

• Create and send accurate invoices and statements to customers
• Receive and process customer payments through cash, checks, ACH or credit cards
• Ensure that customer accounts are balanced and correct discounts and credits are applied
• Make collection calls to follow up on overdue invoices on accounts and credit holds
• Work with credit manager on credit applications to access customers creditworthiness
• Manage the daily cash deposit to go to the bank
• Answer basic billing questions and account reconciliations when necessary
• Customer account maintenance

• Great eye for detail and basic math skills
• 1-5 years of experience working in a credit department or similar role
• Comfortable making collection calls and interacting with customers over then phone and in person
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• File management
• Basic Excel knowledge preferred
• Ability to multitask
