A growing Omaha mid-sized business has seen impressive year-over-year expansion for the past 10 years and is creating a new position within their Corporate Accounting team due to expected continued growth! You will work alongside a group of ~4 Staff / Senior Accountants while reporting to an awesome Corporate Controller (who we know quite well) who is a sharp, high-integrity, technology-forward leader who is being intentional about building a strong team of individuals who are eager to make an impact. The breadth of this role is one of the things that makes it particularly attractive. You will gain exposure to corporate accounting, financial reporting, and financial statement analysis following the month-end close process, while also having the opportunity to take on stretch assignments as you continue to develop. What You'll Be Doing:

• Take ownership of numerous revenue and expense accounts, general ledger reconciliations, and other areas of the monthly close while contributing to financial statement preparation.
• Work closely with the Corporate Controller & CFO on financial and performance analysis, special projects, and other opportunities that will expand your accounting knowledge. You will also be given the green light to experiment and run with process improvement ideas. • Over time, become a financial business partner to operational leaders across the Company's divisions. You will speak regularly with operational leaders to help them understand the financial performance of the business, which will enable you to learn the company and industry more naturally.
