Accounting Assistant

Immediate in-office opening for an Accounting Assistance at SGH Redglaze Holdings, Inc., reporting daily to our Omaha, NE office.

We are proudly Employee Owned and seeking to grow our accounting and administration team with a dependable, self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

As an Accounting Assistant, you will be an integral part of our corporate accounting team. You will collaborate closely with the controller, Accounting Manager, Department Managers, and other team members, customers, and vendors, to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in the accounting process support.

• Posting daily cash receipts, auto-pay bills, customer invoices, and vendor invoices
• Assist with accounts receivable collections & reporting.
• Perform accurate & complete data entry of financial transactions into the accounting software, including month end adjustments and account reconciliations.
• Process new vendor credit applications and provide monthly vendor statement reconciliation including resolution of discrepancies.
• Assist with credit card statement processing.
• Maintain subcontractor insurance compliance and documentation.
• Assist with company prequalification compliance.
• Assist with documentation for internal and external audits.
• Support other accounting or organizational requirements as needed and assigned.
