Pathways Development Program - Associate Accountant

The Associate Accountant for the Grain Division works with the Accounting and Control team to provide finance support to the business as well as serve as a subject expert on various reporting and compliance projects. Responsibilities include working closely with assigned trade units on accounting needs, monthly close and reporting of financial information, monitoring internal controls, reporting risk exposure, reviewing system outputs, and reporting and compliance assignments for the Grain Division.

The selected candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, ability to successfully work with others, and a drive to support overall division and finance objectives.

• Performing recordkeeping and booking journal entries for selected corporate service areas.
• Performing daily reconciliations for the main operating and certain subsidiary bank accounts as well as preparing the monthly cash reconciliations for all outlying location banks.
• Preparing and processing corporate payables.

• Support your assigned businesses and serve our customers, improving processes, and ensuring key business activities are being executed
• Gain hands on experience preparing audit schedules for year-end close

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an anticipated graduation of May 2027
