Position SummaryUnder the direction of the Assistant Director for Operations, this position will provide high-level coordination of planning, organizing, administrating and monitoring of the day-to-day administrative and office services for the Department of Comparative Medicine. This position is the main point of contact for personnel internal and external to the department and must provide excellent customer service. In addition this position will support the Business/Financial Manager and Operations Manager in financial and human resource procedures.

Required Qualifications- High School education or equivalent (High school education or equivalent; five years related post high school education/experience will be considered)
- 5 years of increasingly responsible administrative support experience
- Microsoft Outlook
- Outstanding communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Must present a positive and professional image
- Exceptional problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a fast-paced working environment
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Flexibility and adaptability to last minute projects
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as the ability to set and meet deadlines
- Solid team player
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Business and/or HR)
- HR experience with general office work/management
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft One Drive, Concur, Ariba, ADIS, SAP
