Position SummaryThis position provides complex administrative support for the Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders. It requires independent judgment and a high level of organizational skills; the incumbent will manage and coordinate multiple databases and systems; oversee hiring processes for personnel; maintain department budgets and course schedules; process travel requests and issue course permits; assist with scheduling classes; support reappointment, promotion, tenure, and annual review processes;
plan and reserve department events; maintain the department website; organize graduate program applications; and perform other duties assigned by the department chair or dean. The position also assists with the Speech‑Language Pathology Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) Report for ASHA and serves as office supervisor.
The Office Associate will:
- Provide independent judgment in complex administrative tasks.

- Assist with scheduling of classes.

- Assist with the Speech‑Language Pathology CAA Report for ASHA.
- Serve as office supervisor.
- Required
Education:
HK Diploma. - Required Experience:
2 years of office experience. - Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. - Preferred Experience:
4 years of office experience.
