Job Summary
:
Responsible for the oversight and management of various Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center (FPBCC) administrative activities and research projects as directed by Cancer Center Leadership. This includes coordination and oversight of Cancer Center components, committees, internal funding opportunities, multi-project grants, and financial oversight of FPBCC-supported research projects.
Key Responsibilities
:
- Coordinate and oversee Cancer Center components, committees, internal funding opportunities, and multi-project grants.
- Provide financial oversight for FPBCC-supported research projects.
- Support project/program management activities.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
Required Qualifications
:
- At least 2 years of increasingly responsible administrative support experience, including research grants administration and project/program management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
:
- Experience coordinating projects that require communication and data management skills.
- Experience working in an academic institution.
- Experience with NIH/NCI policies and procedures.
- Additional proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications (optional).
