At Sunlight Senior Care, we believe exceptional care starts with exceptional people. We are one of the fastest-growing home care companies in the Midwest, recognized as a Certified Great Place to Work® and a Provider of Choice because of the culture we’ve built and the people who make it happen.

We’re looking for an organized, calm-under-pressure, people-first Scheduling Coordinator to join our Omaha team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy solving puzzles, and take pride in helping caregivers and clients succeed, this may be the perfect fit.

Benefits
  • Certified Great Place to Work®
  • Competitive pay with performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Monday–Friday office schedule with rotating after-hours support
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits
  • Ongoing training and leadership development
  • Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding organization
  • A team that values collaboration, accountability, and having each other’s backs
What You’ll Do

As a Scheduling Coordinator, you are the quarterback of our daily operations. You will build and manage caregiver schedules while ensuring our clients receive consistent, reliable care.

Responsibilities
  • Match caregivers with clients based on skills, personality, availability, and location.
  • Manage daily schedules, call-offs, open shifts, and urgent staffing needs.
  • Build strong relationships with caregivers and clients through proactive communication.
  • Confirm shifts and maintain accurate scheduling records.
  • Coordinate with recruiting, client care, and leadership teams to maximize coverage and retention.
  • Monitor overtime, travel time, and scheduling efficiency.
  • Assist with onboarding new caregivers into active schedules quickly and successfully.
  • Help create an outstanding experience for both clients and employees.
What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?

We’re less interested in where you’ve worked and more interested in how you work.

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Stay calm and positive when plans change.
  • Are highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Love solving problems and finding solutions.
  • Communicate with empathy and professionalism.
  • Can juggle multiple priorities without losing focus.
  • Believe teamwork and accountability matter.
  • Want to be part of a culture where everyone contributes and no one says, “That’s not my job.”
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in home care, home health, healthcare staffing, or medical scheduling preferred.
  • Experience with scheduling software such as Axis Care, Well Sky, HHAeXchange, Clear Care, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or healthcare experience is a bonus.
Our Culture

At Sunlight Senior Care, we hire for character and culture first. Skills can be taught. Integrity, compassion, accountability, and a team-first mindset cannot.

We’re building a workplace where people enjoy coming to work, support one another, and take pride in making a difference in the lives of seniors and their families. If you’re looking for just another office job, this probably isn’t it. If you’re looking for a career where your work has real impact every single day, we’d love to meet you.

Ready to Join the Team?

Apply today and tell us why you’d be a great addition to the Sunlight Senior Care family. We are looking for someone who is eager to grow, committed to excellence, and passionate about helping others.
