Receptionist

Shifts:

Part‑time (24+ hours/week)

Schedule:

Mondays and Fridays (8am–8pm) – 12 hour shifts

Pay Range: $17.00 – $19.00

Ovation Heartwood – 470 Maxwell Plaza, Omaha, NE 68154

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and callers. Responsibilities include greeting guests, answering and directing phone calls, supporting administrative tasks, managing inquiries, and ensuring a professional and welcoming front‑desk experience.

Responsibilities
  • Answer telephones, operate facility paging system, and manage resident list and incoming calls to residents.
  • Greet visitors, and give directions and information to guests, residents and sales representatives.
  • Ensure all visitors abide by existing rules, use s and manage the sign in/out log.
  • Assist Administrator and Department Directors in administrative manners.
  • Receive, sort and distribute mail.
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent, additional education or secretarial training preferred.
  • Must speak, read, and write English fluently.
  • Must have an active CPR/BLS certification.
Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a clerical position, preferably in a healthcare office setting.
  • 1+ years of experience in a customer service position.
  • Ability to use general office equipment and computer systems required.
  • Must present a professional appearance and reputation to represent Ovation by Avamere.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment.
