Diagnose and repair automotive systems including brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, fuel ignition and electrical, suspension/alignments, air conditioning, and computer systems;
Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers;
Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training;
Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities;
Obtain or maintain ASE certifications (A1-A8) within two years
