Summary: This position is responsible and accountable for dailyvegetableoilsales activity while developing and supporting relationships with the customer base. The position will be requiredtoidentifyand execute sales strategies and implement new sales programs and patterns. The position will report to theSenior

Vice President– Head of Trading and Commercial Operations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Cultivate customer relationships,establishing strategic relationships with key buyers, product development, and senior management personnel
  • Broker prices and terms while preparing sales agreements
  • Oversee corn oil positions, evaluate andidentifymarket trends to maximize profitability
  • Coordinate and schedule day-to-day logistics(rail and trucks)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with plant personnel and oversee inventory management
  • Delivertimelyandaccurateweekly/monthly P&L reporting, while verifying market prices
  • Securetimelypayment from customers within contractual requirements and timelines
  • Explore and implement potential new strategies to improve network efficiency and profitability for the trade unit

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance,Agri-business,or similar field;formal training in agricultural commodity trading/position management is a plus
  • Minimum offive(5) yearsofrelevanttradingexperience preferred
  • Physical agriculture products trading, transportation /shipping and arbitrage experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications
  • Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and most importantly the ability to work well in a team
  • Experience working with diverse teams
  • Outstanding negotiation, analytical, and business skills
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing sales strategies
  • Experience with risk management preferred
