The Women’s Business Center Program Coordinator provides administrative and program support to ensure the smooth delivery of business center services, including client scheduling, training coordination, and recordkeeping. This role assists with workshops and client services but does not serve as the primary business advisor. The position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in supporting entrepreneurship and small business development.
Key Responsibilities Training & Program Support- Coordinate logistics for trainings, webinars, workshops, and events relevant to small businesses.
- Assist with preparation of culturally relevant, accessible training materials and business resources.
- Support the WBC Director and partners in coordinating educational programming.
- Help facilitate trainings and workshops.
- Prepare attendance records of training programs.
- Support documentation of client services and success outcomes in accordance with federal grant requirements.
- Assist with tracking performance metrics and reporting to funders, including the SBA.
- Maintain accurate, confidential client records and follow up on progress.
- Assist with outreach efforts and relationship-building with women-owned businesses and community partners across Nebraska.
- Attend community events, expos, and networking opportunities to promote WBC services.
- Help identify underserved communities and support outreach efforts to engage them.
- Respond to general inquiries and direct clients appropriately.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in business administration, training, or small business support.
- Knowledge of entrepreneurship and marketing strategies.
- Experience working with diverse or underserved communities.

- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Ability help coach entrepreneurs and an interest in their professional development.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and online meeting tools.
- Team-oriented with a passion for community and small business growth.
Physical Requirements
- Primarily office-based with occasional travel within the community and to special events.
- Regular computer and phone use required.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods.
