The Senior Payment Operations Specialist supports enterprise payment operations by managing issue intake, conducting research across internal systems, and coordinating resolution with internal and external partners. This role serves as a central operational resource, ensuring payment-related issues are addressed efficiently and consistently while maintaining continuity across workflows and initiatives.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Employees in this role are eligible for overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a workweek.
Some of the specific duties are listed below:- Manage and triage incoming payment-related inquiries through the shared payments inbox.
- Research payment, account-level, and transaction-level issues using internal systems and tools.
- Coordinate issue resolution with internal teams and external partners across the organization.
- Support payment-related account terminations, reconciliations, and follow-up activities.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process or workflow improvements.
- Maintain documentation and visibility in order to issue trends and resolutions.

Qualifications:- Demonstrated experience supporting payment operations or related financial workflows.
- Strong research and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple internal teams.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently while supporting broader team objectives.
- 3+ years’ experience in payment operations required.
This position is based out of the Milliman office in Omaha, Nebraska. Candidates hired into this role must be willing to work onsite full-time.
