Claims Business Analyst

Job Description

+ Analyzes and documents business processes, data-flows and uses of information technology.

+ Evaluates performance for opportunities to increase automation, improve efficiency, and increase accuracy.

+ Measures performance of current processes by capturing metrics and comparing performance to benchmarks.

+ Makes recommendations to supervisor for changes to processes and technologies that will improve operating efficiency, quality and reliability of unit results.

+ Documents processes for analysis and models changes to processes and/or technologies.

+ Documents current business rules, procedures and proposed changes.

+ Recommends new service level metrics and benchmarks based on implementation of proposed processes and technology improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.

+ Strong working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and querying

+

Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting

+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, modeling, and reporting)

+ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ways of working

+

Experience with Microsoft Azure or cloud-based platforms
