Billing Specialist

Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Project Administrator in the Omaha Metropolitan Area. The Construction Biller/Estimator will be responsible for coordinating and managing project billing, documentation, communicating with stakeholders, assisting in project planning and scheduling, and ensuring project compliance with regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

+ Coordinate and manage project billing processes.

+ Handle documentation and ensure compliance with project regulations and standards.

+ Communicate effectively with stakeholders involved in the projects.

+ Assist in project planning and scheduling.

+ Support the project team in maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in billing management, invoicing, and invoice processing.

+ Proficiency in data entry, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

+ At least 2 years of experience in billing, particularly within the construction industry.

+ Strong skills in Excel and familiarity with Spectrum ERP.

+ Experience in construction project administration, documentation, and coordination.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with Build Ops software is a plus.

+ Basic knowledge of Excel.

+ Experience in the MEP Construction industry (Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing).

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management software.

Work Environment

The position is 100% onsite with a schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The work environment is career-focused with opportunities for pay raises and competitive bonuses, though title growth may be limited. The company offers full healthcare coverage for families, a 5% 401k match, and six paid holidays. Employees accrue paid time off, starting at 40 hours in the first year, with increases over time.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $33.00/hr.
