About the Role

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Product Portfolio & Compliance Specialist to support the execution, maintenance, and compliant expansion of our product portfolio. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product accuracy, regulatory compliance, and seamless coordination across teams.

This position blends product portfolio coordination with compliance and screening responsibilities, including restricted product review, supplier documentation management, and regulatory recordkeeping. You’ll work cross-functionally with Procurement, Supplier Relations, Sales, Marketing, and Operations while also partnering directly with suppliers to ensure complete and accurate product information.

What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate product portfolio activities, including item setup, supplier documentation, and product updates
  • Review product information for compliance and screening requirements
  • Conduct restricted and chemical product screening based on regulatory, customer, and destination requirements
  • Maintain DEA List I records and other compliance documentation in an audit-ready state
  • Partner with suppliers to gather specifications, safety data, and regulatory details
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve product setup and compliance-related issues
  • Support product launches, updates, and ongoing maintenance activities
  • Identify process gaps and help improve product screening and compliance workflows
  • Escalate risks, incomplete documentation, and compliance concerns to leadership
  • Support special projects related to product data, compliance processes, and portfolio cleanup

Requirements What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, chemistry, biology, regulatory affairs, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in product data, procurement, compliance, supplier documentation, or distribution operations preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage structured, documentation-heavy workflows
  • Ability to research, interpret requirements, and apply sound judgment
  • Strong communication and follow‑up skills with both internal teams and external suppliers
  • Comfortable working cross‑functionally and navigating evolving processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience preferred
  • Background in chemicals, laboratory products, regulatory environments, or OEM/private label is a plus
