Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Omaha, Nebraska. This is a new role responsible for contributing to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska’s mission by supporting day‑to‑day treasury operations and delivering high‑quality service to internal and external stakeholders. Typical responsibilities may include collaborating with cross‑functional teams, managing assigned workflows or projects, maintaining accurate records or documentation, and responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

The role may also involve analyzing data or processes, preparing reports, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience. The individual in this position is expected to uphold company values, follow regulatory and compliance guidelines, and participate in continuous learning to stay current with industry practices.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, leaders, and customers.
  • Candidates should possess organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Candidates should possess analytical and problem‑solving skills to interpret data, identify issues, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Candidates should possess technical proficiency with common office software (such as spreadsheets, and presentation tools) and be comfortable learning new systems.
  • Candidates should possess customer service and relationship‑building skills to provide respectful, responsive, and inclusive support to diverse populations.
  • Relevant experience in health care, insurance, or a related field is beneficial, as is familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards.
  • An associate or bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (such as business, health administration, or communications) or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct, continuous improvement, and contributing to a positive, equitable, and inclusive workplace culture is valued.
